Our training workshops scale from introductory and method workshops to company intensive training sessions conducted at the department level. We help your employees improve the efficiency of their writing, to help them communicate ideas using a Propositional Style and to help give them a voice that readers will want to hear. Workshops Workshops are conducted in a half-day to full-day seminar format for employee groups of 10 or less. Workshops are priced at a flat fee and are conducted at the employees' place of business. Course Segments Introduction to Business Grammar - Transitioning from an academic style to one valued by business readers. Focus is on clarity and cohesion in routine communication (e.g., correspondence, e-mail, and other proscriptive materials). Best for entry level and administrative personnel. The Propositional Style in Business Writing - Writing about ideas for managers and executives. Key personnel learn to write in a way where the reader can quickly find their ideas, remember the meaning of those ideas; and then act upon them (as proscribed). Best for managers in sales, marketing, human resources, and customer support. Company/Department Intensive - Applying the technique to specific materials and communication problems. Blends the grammatical and Propositional Style to create a department standard for writing. One-on-one diagnostic sessions with department employees help achieve more confidence in their writing, and the department standard.
